Just as the lessons taught in 6th and 7th grade presuppose a mastery of the more elemental skills, pre-Algebra and Algebra presuppose mastery in the areas below. These are often skills that students at first glance say, “Oh I know those, they are pretty easy.” However, when given problems to do on their own, they quickly find they needed more practice to attain mastery.

This Course Will Cover Concepts Such As:

• Advanced Order of Operations

• Integers

• Algebraic Equations

• Single and Multi Step Conversion of Measurement

• Perimeter, Area, and Surface Area

  Mastering these skills will better equip students to master pre-Algebra, therefore laying a strong foundation for Algebra and other high school level Mathematics.
